The Foresight Engine is an online game to encourage wide-scale scenario thinking. It was designed and developed by Jane McGonigal of the Institute for the Future in partnership with Natron Baxter Applied Gaming. Features:
- Built around Twitter-length (140 character) microforecasts
- Lightweight interface with low time commitment: minimum of 15-20 minutes over 1-2 days. Engagement is often longer
This looks like it's a fairly big break away from traditional scenario thinking processes. It's more of a high-intensity, large-scale brainstorming and deliberation process.
